1–2. Structure and internal links
Map the important pages and visitor questions first. Give every page a purpose. Connect relevant services, projects and articles with descriptive links so people can understand the relationships.
3–4. Audience and actions
Write for specific customers rather than everyone at once. Start with their questions. Match calls to action to the content: a project can lead to a related service, and a service page to an introductory call.
5–6. Hierarchy and scope
Use headings, spacing and type sizes to guide attention. Start with content that explains the offer convincingly. Add pages when they answer a distinct question and can be maintained over time.
7–8. Tools and consistency
Choose a platform based on content, functionality and your team’s skills. Define a small system for colour, typography and components. Consistency supports usability and makes later changes easier.
9–10. Navigation and imagery
Use understandable menu labels and check mobile operation. Images should show relevant services, results or people. Add useful alt text and optimise file sizes. Before launch, check links, contact options and language versions.
